This consultation attracted lawyers who are engaged in human rights and issues of religious liberty in Nigeria.
Dr Para-Mallam, was the only none lawyer invited to this consultation due to his advocacy roles in Nigeri and globally. He expressed shock over the high prevalence of religious freedom violations in Nigeria as revealed during the consultation.
“I realized that some of the known cases of religous violations in Nigeria are just a tip of the iceberg,” He said.
After the consulation, a team went to pay a brief visit to a respected Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Okoro, a principled and diisciplined man. He hosted the team to a dinner in his home and received them very warmly.
