During one of Rev. Dr Gideon Para-Mallam’s, cohorts at the Oxford Centre for Mission Studies (OCMS), he met a University of Oxford Professor, Michelle Hu, a Consultant Neurologist and Professor of Clinical Neuroscience, who picked interest in the work of the Prara-Mallam Peace Foundation; in the area of peace building, social justice and human rights issues in Nigeria.
She and her husband, Prof Simon Hu, invited a few friends from the University of Oxford and others, to a dinner briefing in their home, where Dr. Para-Mallam made a presentation on the Imperative of Peacebuilding in Nigeria.
He also highlighted the challenges of victims of violence and women who have been sexually abused due to Nigeria’s insecurity.
