The Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang and the President of Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, Rev. Dr. Gideon Para-Mallam, paid an advocacy visit to the British parliament at Westminster where they met some British Members of Parliament.
Jim Shanon (MP), welcomed all present, as he raised concerns about the violence in Nigeria and the need to find a sustainable solution.
The governor made an incisive presentation on Nigeria, Plateau state security challenges and opportunities for economic transformation.
Dr Para-Mallam provided fact based moving stories on the challenges of victims of violence, women in captivity who have suffered sexual abuse and other forms of human indignities endured in the hands of terrorist and attackers in Nigerian communities.
He concluded by making a passionate plea for all lovers of peace to campaign for an end to the killings and kidnappings in Nigeria.
