The President and CEO of the Para-Mallam Peace Foundation, Rev. Dr Gideon Para-Mallam, participated in a consultation on religious freedom and libertyin Canada. This was orgnased by the Religious Liberty Parnership (RLP).
They examine religious violations in countries such as Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, Sudan, Pakistan, India, North Korea, China, to mention a few. These are flashpoint spots of religious persecution around the world. The aim was to promote effective and impactful advocacy by drawing the attention of powerful politival leaders around the world to act in safeguarding religious and human rights freedoms. Most of the participants are drawn from those who have become voices of the voiceless for victims of religious descrimination and persecution.
Participants left pledging to remain voices to the voiceless and the powerfless including those who live on the margins of society.
