A delegation from the US Embassy in Abuja visited our Peace Foundation yesterday. We enjoyed engaging and insightful conversations around the nuanced nature of insecurity in Plateau State and beyond. This visit was both necessary and important because global partnerships in sustainable peace building efforts must be done with the understanding of the complexities of on-going attacks within their contexts. We look forward to future collaborative initiatives with the Embassy as we continue to work for peaceful coexistence and conflict transformation in Nigeria.
